Shadow Mountain found their leader in underclassman Cheyenne Hanna, who scored nine points along with six steals and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Hanna posted two or more blocks. Tess Newport was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Shadow Mountain's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Yuma, they bumped their record down to 5-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Shadow Mountain will take on Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunderbird is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Yuma, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cibola at 5:30 p.m. Cibola has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three games.
