Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Floyd Central Jaguars an 11-0 shutout. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
