Arbor View waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 70-58 victory over the Somerset Academy Losee Lions. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Lions are ranked 39th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Somerset Academy Losee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roderick Johnson, who posted 17 points. The game was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kieran Daniel, who put up 13 points.

Arbor View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Somerset Academy Losee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Arbor View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 92-70 defeat against Bishop Gorman on the 13th. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they will take on Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
