Westosha Central is a perfect 4-0 against Beloit Memorial since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Purple Knights at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Westosha Central is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Muskego just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 6-3 to the Warriors.

Alex McKinney was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Megan Lampos, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Beloit Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Burlington.

Beloit Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklynne Hereford-Foster, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Westosha Central's record now sits at 12-7-1. As for Beloit Memorial, their record is now 6-16.

Beloit Memorial's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Westosha Central has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Beloit Memorial, though, as they've been averaging only 2.1 strikeouts. Will Westosha Central keep running through batters, or will the Purple Knights buck the trend?

Everything went Westosha Central's way against Beloit Memorial in their previous meeting on Monday, as Westosha Central made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
