The Freeman Flyers lost against the Howard Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Freeman was the victim of a tough 58-36 defeat at the hands of Howard. Freeman has not had much luck with Howard recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Flyers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rocky Ammann, who scored 13 points. Chris Aasen was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Howard, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Irene/Wakonda at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Howard won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Colman-Egan at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
