Providence Catholic has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Providence Catholic will be strutting in after a victory while Unity Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Providence Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Marmion, but they still walked away with a 50-45 victory.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Unity Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of MCC.
The losing side was boosted by Shamar Coleman, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Robinson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Providence Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Unity Christian Academy, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.
