The Calhoun Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Adairsville on Saturday as Calhoun made off with a 75-52 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-13.
It was another big night for Emaree Winston, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Blake Hammett was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds.
Calhoun's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Adairsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
