After a string of three wins, Dunlap's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 49-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Dunlap's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Peoria Notre Dame, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunlap will take on East Peoria in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Dunlap is facing East Peoria at the right time seeing as East Peoria is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will challenge Alton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Alton will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Peoria Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight.
