The Oakridge Owls were the 50-30 winner over the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Oakridge fell to Episcopal School of Dallas 49-43.
Several Owls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Miles Frazier, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals. Shavaughn Dunson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two blocks.
Oakridge's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-10. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakridge will take on Trinity Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Valley is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Worth Country Day at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Worth Country Day is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
