It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Norwayne had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They secured a 42-38 W over the Chippewa Chipps. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Norwayne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Froelich, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 21 boards. Those 21 rebounds gave Froelich a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Demassimo, who posted ten points along with six boards and three steals.
Norwayne's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Chippewa, they moved to 18-9 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
Norwayne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-43 victory against Canton South on the 28th. Chippewa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
