West Sequoia recap November 5, 2013
Fowler scaled the state rankings by moving to 780 from 806 this week, the biggest jump in West Sequoia. The Redcats were able to move up by beating Riverdale 52-7.
Fowler extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Cowboys, 52-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
The Redcats' James Silva and Blake Brisco led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Silva has thrown for 921 yards this season, while Brisco has 35 catches for 543 yards. Zak Clayton from Minarets leads the league in rushing with 435 yards.
A big matchup in West Sequoia this week will be when Fowler takes on Caruthers. The Redcats are in third place, while the Blue Raiders are in first place.
Riverdale lost to Fowler 52-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
