They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greenbrier Christian Academy 75-36 on the road. Hampton Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mikaela Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 38 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Crosby, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Julia Buchanan, who scored ten points, and Elizabeth Thome who scored nine points. Buchanan continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
The victory for Hampton Christian Academy keeps them at an undefeated 13-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.92 points. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Hampton Christian Academy will be playing at home against Broadwater Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Broadwater Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Hampton Christian Academy is ranked 71st). As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will challenge Portsmouth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Portsmouth Christian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
