  Avery Elkin and  Leah Mondi made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Elkin   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Mondi   struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Elkin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Elkin  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5, while  Mondi  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news, West Shamokin got a  massive  performance out of  Aleya Talmadge, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Madi Keirn, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
 West Shamokin is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record  this season. As for Homer-Center, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
