While Hazen put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Barton. Hazen was the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over Barton. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Hazen's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Barton, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hazen and Barton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Hazen sees the field they'll take on Quitman at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Barton, their break will end when they face England at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
