North Quincy had a rough outing against Pembroke last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. North Quincy made easy work of Plymouth South on Friday and carried off a 28-7 victory. North Quincy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
It took a quarter to shake off the cobwebs, but after zero first-quarter points, the North Quincy offense picked up 14 points in the second quarter. Plymouth South wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 14-7 heading into the break. North Quincy put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. North Quincy will stay at home next week against Hanover at 7:00 PM. As for Plymouth South, they will face off against Pembroke. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
