Sheridan is on a ten-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Arrupe Jesuit a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Sheridan Rams will take on the Arrupe Jesuit Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Sheridan struggled with assists on Tuesday (Lake County had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Sheridan took a serious blow against Lake County, falling 80-44. Sheridan has not had much luck with Lake County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Will Brent, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals. Brent is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Garcia, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Arrupe Jesuit fought the good fight in their overtime contest against The Pinnacle on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 42-39.
Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
