While losing is never fun, Berean Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 534th, while First Assembly Christian Academy is ranked 247th).
It was another big night for Ta'Bryant Wooden, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds for First Assembly Christian Academy. The contest was Wooden's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Quintin Roberts, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Berean Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for First Assembly Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Berean Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Temple Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30, 2024. First Assembly Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coastal HomeSchool at 12:45 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Coastal HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
