There's no place like home for the Brawley Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Southwest EC by a score of 48-38 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Brawley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Domanic Vallejo was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Brawley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmond Thomas, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Brawley's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Southwest EC, they are on a 21-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.
Brawley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest EC, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
