The Heritage Hawks stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Brookstone 60-39. The win was familiar territory for Heritage who now have five in a row.
Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Robert bolinger led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Max Skidmore was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Brookstone's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Henderson, who scored seven points.
Heritage pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.92 points. As for Brookstone, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Coincidentally, Heritage and Brookstone will both be playing St. Mary's Academy the next time they take the court. Brookstone will head out to face St. Mary's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Heritage will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
