Sequoyah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Keys Cougars as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Sequoyah pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Keys, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Sequoyah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Cameron on the 29th. As for Keys, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Central on the 29th.
