Volleyball Recap: JW North's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Vista del Lago came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against JW North, but Mina Aziz wouldn't allow it. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ravens on Thursday for which the team can thank Aziz, who had ten digs and four aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played.

JW North never let Vista del Lago on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-22.

The Huskies (ranked 680th) will meet Hillcrest (ranked 203rd) at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Vista del Lago will challenge Poly at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (748 vs. 110).
