Muchin College Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They really took it to Baker for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-9 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-5.
Jalen McIntyre was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Omarie Burns was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to ITW David Speer Academy, who are still winless after their fifth match. They suffered a tough 53-32 defeat at the hands of Rauner on Thursday.
Muchin College Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for ITW David Speer Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Muchin College Prep against ITW David Speer Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 as the team secured a 71-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Muchin College Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
