In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carson West, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Michael Giesler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Capital unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
Marcos Martinez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Capital's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for St. Michael's, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. St. Michael's hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Capital struggles in that department as they've averaged .406. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
