After losing to New Hope the last time they met, Enterprise decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Enterprise Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the New Hope Trojans on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Meredith Dearman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

Enterprise now has a winning record of 7-6. As for New Hope, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enterprise will welcome Kemper County at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for New Hope, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Picayune at 3:15 p.m.
