The Astoria/VIT Rebels lost against the Peoria Heights Patriots back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Astoria/VIT took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peoria Heights. Astoria/VIT has struggled against Peoria Heights recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nic Huston, who scored 10 points. Kaden Foglesong was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Astoria/VIT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Peoria Heights, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Astoria/VIT will take on Midwest Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peoria Heights, they will play host again and welcome Woodland, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Woodland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Peoria Heights in Illinois (Woodland is ranked 101st, while Peoria Heights is ranked 293rd).
