The Simmons Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Stringer 64-12 at home. The result was nothing new for Simmons, who have now won eight matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Although Stringer took the loss, they still got scores from Ashton Cook and Khylan Sinegal.
Simmons' win was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Coldwater and 1-9 Leland (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 30.4% over those games). As for Stringer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Simmons will take on Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
