The Randleman Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 47-41 W over Wheatmore on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Randleman also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Audra Petty continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bella Byman, who scored nine points along with three steals.
The win got Randleman back to even at 4-4. As for Wheatmore, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randleman will square off against Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Ledford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 40 on Tuesday. As for Wheatmore, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
