After a string of four wins, Giles County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Mt. Pleasant Tigers, falling 67-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since February 8th.

Mt. Pleasant had a senior duo take command as Jakyri McClure dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds and Ryan Benderman dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McClure has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Micah Dale, who posted 12 points.

Giles County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Giles County Bobcats face off against the Fayetteville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will venture away from home to square off against Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
