After a string of four wins, the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against DSST: Cedar, falling 85-41. STEM School Highlands Ranch was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.
Defeat or not, STEM School Highlands Ranch got some senior leadership from Omar Rahin who scored 12 points and Tyler Munro who scored 16 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rahin has scored all season.
DSST: Cedar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Stophel, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds.
