Meanwhile, Aransas Pass came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Mathis by a score of 57-48.
Odem's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-17. As for Aransas Pass, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-17 record this season.
