The Dunbar Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-50 win over Bonita Springs. With that win, Dunbar brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
It was another big night for David Church, who scored 20 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobey Babernitch, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Dunbar's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Bonita Springs, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-23.
Dunbar's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. Family Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Bonita Springs, they will head out on the road to take on the Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cape Coral knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten contests -- so hopefully the Bullsharks like a good challenge.
