Volleyball Recap: Friday's Win Is Fillmore Central's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Fillmore Central picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers.

Fillmore Central can attribute much of their success to Josie Corson, who had 15 digs and two assists. Corson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Fillmore Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

Fillmore Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Cleveland on the 19th. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against MACCRAY on the 19th.
