Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 27-6 win. The result was nothing new for St. Vincent de Paul, who have now won 11 games by 21 points or more so far this season.
St. Vincent de Paul got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Casanovas out in front who threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jack Davis also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The victory was the seventh in a row for St. Vincent de Paul, bringing their record for this year to 13-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points per game. As for Wasco, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
St. Vincent de Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wasco also has no future games currently scheduled.
