Saturday wrapped up the high school football season in Connecticut as four teams emerged as champions.
The Class LL state championship game saw Newtown (13-0) capture its first state championship since 1992, notching a 13-7 victory over Darien (11-2).
In Class L, the battle of unbeatens certainly didn't disappoint as St. Joseph (13-0) captured their third consecutive state championship, defeating Hand (12-1) 17-13.
Sheehan (11-2) left no doubt in the Class S title game defeating Bloomfield (12-1) 64-33 to earn the program's first state title since 1985.
Weston (12-1) took home its first state title in program history, knocking off Killingly (11-2) 27-6 in the Class M championship tilt.
Champions in 2018 include Greenwich (LL), Daniel Hand (L), St. Joseph (M) and Bloomfield (S).
