Basketball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

After losing to Woodward Academy the last time they met, Martensdale-St. Mary decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over the Woodward Academy Knights on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Martensdale-St. Mary's pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Woodward Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Martensdale-St. Mary's will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lenox at 7:30 p.m. Martensdale-St. Mary's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lenox likes a good challenge. As for Woodward Academy, they will face off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodward Academy is facing Greene County at the right time seeing as Greene County is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
