Centennial blew Brentwood Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Brentwood Academy got their revenge. The Centennial Cougars fell just short of the Brentwood Academy Eagles by a score of 5-3. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Eli Wells made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ben Gant, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centennial fell to 3-1. As for Brentwood Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will square off against Page at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Page will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brentwood Academy, they will face off against Father Ryan at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
