The Farmville Central Jaguars were successful in their previous meeting against the Beddingfield Bruins, and they didn't afford Beddingfield any payback this time around. The Jaguars made easy work of Beddingfield on Tuesday and carried off a 75-51 victory. The win was familiar territory for Farmville, who now has ten in a row.
Farmville's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 43 first-half points. Beddingfield wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 43-28 heading into the break. Farmville's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win.
Farmville's win brought them up to 17-3. The defeat dropped Beddingfield's record to 15-6.
Farmville will stay at home against North Pitt on Friday. Unlike the Jaguars, North Pitt will be stumbling in off of a loss. The Bruins will look to defend their home court on Friday against SouthWest Edgecombe. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
