Panguitch put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Wayne Badgers by a score of 54-46. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Badgers are ranked 111th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Panguitch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Remme Chappell, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. Chappell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Bridger Chappell was another key player, going 7 of 15 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.

Panguitch was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wayne only posted nine assists.

When it comes to explaining why Wayne lost, don't look at Blake Peterson. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Robins, who had six points along with ten boards and three blocks.

Panguitch's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Wayne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panguitch Bobcats duke it out with the Wendover Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wendover's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Wayne will take on Draper APA in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
