Softball Recap: Moundridge Has No Trouble Against Herington

While Moundridge put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Herington. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Railroaders with a sharp 16-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Moundridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Herington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Moundridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Railroaders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
