Nuview Bridge waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They didn't even let Santa Rosa Academy onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that Nuview Bridge has won by exactly two goals.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Oscar Estrella and
Cesar Gonzalez, who scored.
Nuview Bridge's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nuview Bridge will take on Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against California Military Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
