The Creekview Mustangs had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Turner 69-52 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Creekview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Turner still got an impressive performance from Rodney Gray, who scored 29 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gray has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Dominguez, who scored six points.
Creekview's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-13. As for Turner, they bumped their record down to 15-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Creekview will take on The Colony at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colony presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Creekview in Texas (The Colony is ranked 41st, while Creekview is ranked 646th). As for Turner, they will head out on the road to face off against Frisco at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
