Eufaula (Ala.) will rue a missed two-point conversation against
Enterprise (Ala.), as provided the difference in a 35-34 defeat.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Trey Johns to
Siran Neal, the Tigers went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Wildcats scored the winning points with a touchdown run that came in the fifth quarter.
Despite scoring seven points in the third, Enterprise still trailed by 14 points going into the fourth quarter. But 14 points in the fourth helped the Wildcats pull out the victory.
Eufaula's Johns played well. He threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to five on the year.
The loss comes after Eufaula defeated Russell County 48-0 last week. The win was a nice bounce back for Enterprise, which lost to Foley last week, 42-17.
Eufaula (4-1) goes up against Valley in a 5A Region 2 game matchup next week, while Enterprise (3-2) locks horns with Northview in a 6A Region 2 game.
