The Lincoln Golden Lions will head out on the road to  challenge  the Grove City Greyhounds at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
 On Monday, Lincoln came up short against Westerville Central  and fell  12-8.
  Landon Ringhiser was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Nick Wieland was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dessmond Higgins, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Grove City had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 runs), and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They blew past the Panthers 20-0. Grove City's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Grove City, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 17-3.
