The McDonald Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell  50-40 to Lowellville. McDonald was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lowellville apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in December of 2023.
 Lowellville can attribute much of their success to  Serinna  Tych, who  scored 21 points along with five  steals. Another player making a difference was  Isabella  Willrich , who  scored ten points along with three  steals.
 McDonald has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Lowellville, they pushed their record up to 5-8 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonald will  face off against Mineral Ridge at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lowellville, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbiana at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday.
