Victory Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Southern Prep Academy with a sharp 13-0 win. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Raygen Langley made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Langley was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Langley is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Easton Durden, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Chatman, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Victory Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.
Southern Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024. Everything went their way against Evangel Christian Academy as Southern Christian made off with an 11-1 win. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Jedd Scott made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Jagger Scott was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Southern Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-3 when he doesn't). Luke Rudd also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Southern Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Victory Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Victory Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 11.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Southern Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
