Declo hasn't had much luck against Malad recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hornets will challenge the Dragons at 3:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Declo gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Wendell as they made off with a 19-9 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Teagan Wickel was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and three RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kymbree Koyle, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Declo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Malad never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on West Side with a sharp 19-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Sarah Toone made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Toone was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
In other batting news, Aubrey Shulz was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Stella Merja was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Declo's record now sits at 9-12. As for Malad, their record is now 19-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Declo hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Malad struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Declo suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Malad in their previous meeting last Saturday. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
