The Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Trinity Christian with points to spare, taking the game 34-17. This was payback for Tri-City Christian Academy, who suffered a 36-6 loss the last time these two teams met.
Tri-City Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Peyton Jacobsen, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jacobsen has scored at least a third of Tri-City Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Phillips, who scored two points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Tri-City Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
Tri-City Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Berean Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
