This season hasn't been kind to the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glenrock on Saturday. Rocky Mountain was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Glenrock apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Rocky Mountain's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cole Minchow, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Hedges, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Rocky Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Glenrock, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky Mountain is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Burlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Rocky Mountain likes a good challenge. As for Glenrock, they will head out on the road to face off against Hot Springs County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hot Springs County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Glenrock in Wyoming (Hot Springs County is ranked second, while Glenrock is ranked 30th).
