Schaumburg Christian has not had much luck with Parkview Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Schaumburg Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Carynton Hobson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Hobson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephanie Tenuto, who scored four points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Gracie Lambes continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkview Christian Academy, scoring 32 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Emily Howard was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Schaumburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Parkview Christian Academy, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.
Schaumburg Christian will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Elgin Academy at 2:30 p.m. Elgin Academy is coming into the contest with three straight losses on the road, meaning Schaumburg Christian will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they will take on Kankakee Trinity Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkview Christian Academy is facing Kankakee Trinity Academy at the right time seeing as Kankakee Trinity Academy is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
