Volleyball Recap: Brantley County's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Brantley County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Cook Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Brantley County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Brantley County's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Cook, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Brantley County and Cook will both be playing Brooks County the next time they take the court. The Herons will host the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
